Missing the Army... no way!
After nearly 1 week of not being in the Medical Centre, I really dragged coming to work today. All the blood taking, ECG and visual acuity have been a daily routine for me in the Treatment room. Today was like any other Mondays; a lot of patients from both MINDEF and 5SIR.
Then Tony told me about Dr. Chung that happened last week during my absence. I was totally shocked because it seems childish for Dr. Chung to behave that way till now. I hope the problem will be resolved soon as Dr. Chung is one of the friendliest guys in MINDEF. It feels sad to know that this is happening.
Did a lot of wrapping of gauze and cotton balls in the afternoon. BORING! There’s nothing to do anyway.
There are 2 things that are bothering me currently:
1.The recent acts of terrorism in London has got me thinking whether the decision to shoot a person on the head if he doesn’t comply to the guidelines of the police force in London is really the best thing to do. Is it worth to shoot an ‘innocent’ man if he poses a threat to the community at large? Is there no other way to curd terrorism and to identify suicide bombers? If your son was the one who got shot at, will you understand the actions of the police? All I can say is that the world is coming to a stage where uncertainties bound everyone together in times of peace and war and in what I call the age of terrorism.
2.I’ve also noticed that it is hard to find good help nowadays when you need it the most. Not that I’m always dependent on people to help me but I wouldn’t mind having a helping hand every now and then. It makes your work much easier. I may sound selfish but that’s the truth. Maybe it is the act of a few people but it really bothers me. Has the courteous campaign any impact on Singaporeans? Maybe only on the month of the campaign. Not trying to be cynical; there are some that are always willing to lend a helping hand when work overwhelmed me. It just bothers me. Maybe I depend too much on people…

Hehe, got your entry, just today. My com is like my dota skills ah, they both suck..haha..What happened to Dr nice guy? What did he do now? Asal tak bilang aku? Boleh aku bantai dier.haha..
The shoot to kill policy is worrying me too. The innocent guy they shot was actually a nice guy, thinkin of collectin money for his parents back in Brazil. The police shd somehow be partly held responsible.
SOmetimes its ok to be dependent. Kalau tak lebih baik hidop sendiri kan? haha..Anw, u can always rely on me to lend u a helpin hand ;p
